In the world of TV production, every little detail counts—from lighting to set design. When Coronation Street decided to relocate its set from the Granada Studios site to Media City in 2012, a brick match was key to bringing their vision to life. A close match was not good enough, in the world of High Definition screens it required an exact match.
That’s where Furness Brick came in, offering their bespoke brick matching service. The key element here is that Furness Brick did not just try and match the colour of the brick, we matched the colour, the texture and also the production method used.
A number of years later expansion of the new set was undertaken, again Furness Brick was called upon to produce bricks that would blend into the existing set and look decades old from the day they were laid.
